In January of 2022 I, Walker Tapley, was working at a rinkydink mom and pop pawn shop in small town Staunton Virginia. I LOVED that job. Sadly, like many small businesses in America, the company got bought out by a large corporation and cleaned house!!! Leaving this “Texas Ranger” unemployed and ready to dish out a couple round house kicks out of frustration!!! Sadly, round house kicks are frowned upon in today society… So I had to figure out a way to channel my anger as well as my small business mentality into something good. On January 11th 2022, I needed what my fiance calls a “pickmeup” to brighten my spirits after my sudden unemployment. SO I started to look at wallets. Wallets, to me, can symbolize a fresh start. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted. So I made my own! Through the support of the local community, I realized that I had a knack for it! So here we are! fast forward a year and we have all kinds of business. Plans for 2024 include take the “Better Late Than Leather Show” on the road and moving to Colorado!!!
